Description
Our 40m2 air-conditioned apartment has a beautiful, quiet, south-facing terrace overlooking an interior courtyard. The terrace is protected from the sun by retractable awnings. it is located on the 4th floor with left in a secure building. It has an open kitchen/dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a washing machine and separate WC. Its ideal geolocation will allow you to explore the city entirely on foot. Various shops are nearby.
The apartment comprises :
- A large living room with an open-plan kitchen; a sitting area with a large sofa, TV, box, wifi and a dining area with a table and 3 chairs.
- A fully-equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, etc.
- One bedroom, with 2 twin beds (90*190)
- A bathroom with shower and washing machine, hairdryer; WC ;

If you want to travel by tram from Nice Airport to the city center it take 25 minutes, tram line 2 runs between the airport and tram stop Jean Médecin in the center of the city opposite Centre Commercial – Nice etoile. You walk up Jean Medecin 5minutes and you will have Rue de Paris on your right hand.
If you arrive by train to the Nice GARE, you have a 5 minutes walk down to the apartment.
Go left when you leave the train station, you will reach the Ave Jean Medicin (tram line). Go down Avenue Jean Medecin 2 blocks and turn left on to Rue de Paris.

The apartment is very well located, it is situated in a quiet area in the middle of the city center of Nice. It is only a few steps away from the quiet pedestrian Avenue Jean Médecin with its new tramway.
If you go to Avenue Jean Médecin ( less than 100 m from the apartment), you will find a lot of different boutiques as well as great variety of restaurants , snacks , organic shops, coffee bars etc. `
You can go down the Avenue towards the beaches by foot ( 900m) or even by tram. On our way you will pass in front of several attractive sites like,
-The shopping center 'Nice Etoile'.
-The historic square of Nice, the Place Masséna.
-Rue de France , the longest pedestrian street (shops, glaciers and restaurants),
-La Coulée Verte, a garden in the heart of the city of 40,000m² of pedestrian area, with around 17,000m2 of lawns planted with trees and flowers. La Coulée Verte can welcome young and old alike. You will find great outdoor games for children: a whale and various marine animals, all made of wood to respect the nature.
You will also find an esplanade with water jets, a nice place to hang out when it is hot, and very refreshing for children ( - bring extra clothes!)
and, a picnic areas. « The locals » like to spend time and walk here during the day time as well as in the evening,
If you walk up the Coulée Verts you reach the refurbished Garibaldi square, where you also will find many restaurants with terraces on the square, including the oldest brewery in Nice, the 'Cafe de Turin' (product from the sea and other typical dishes); You can also reach the port of Nice by crossing the district of Antiquaires.
Between the Coulée Verte and the beach you have the old city. The old city of Nice is avery attractive area for locals and visitors, with it’s shops, restaurants and glaciers. You can stroll around in the charming and shaded little alleys, filled by old churches , squares , shops, cafés, restaurants, bars etc. You can easily spend days wandering around here! On Cours Salaya, the most famous and most popular square you will always find a nice restaurant or café, on Monday mornings you will find typically Provençal market (olives, fruits, flowers etc.) here and regularly, often on Sundays there is an antique market on the square.
The beachfront on the Promeade des Anlais is the place of several luxury hotels like Negresco, Palais de la Mediterranee, Westminster .. All along the beach you will find restaurants and public and private beaches. At the beach you can also rent jet ski or take a ride with a parachute.
If you go up Avenue Jean Médecin on your right you arrive quickly at the train station, from where you can easily reach Cannes, VilleFranche-sur-Mer, Monaco and even Ventimiglia in Italy. In the area around the train station you can find oriental restaurants, Chinese, Japanese etc ... You can also pass under the railway bridge and stroll on to another very nice neighborhood of Nice …
If you turn right on leaving the building of the apartment, you will arrive at the bottom of the well-known district of Cimiez . From there you can hike or catch a bus to go up the hill. In Cimiez you can visit the Roman Amphitheater and the Matisse Museum. CImiez is a beautiful part of Nice, there are many old palaces and luxury residence, like the Regina, dominate the Angel's Bay.
I you go by car you have access in less than an hour to Cannes or Monaco (the train from Nice is faster) . By car you can also go behind Nice, the areas behind Nice are very charming and you can do a lot of different sports activities and hiking there.

Car park
It is difficult to find free parking in Nice. We recommend the Cours Saleya public car park located on the street of the same name (3 mins walk). For more information, visit the tourist office website: nicetourisme. com / parking.
From the airport the apartment is accessible by tram for 1.50 €: take line T2 to the "Jean-Medcin" stop and change to line T1 until the Opéra Vielle Ville stop. Or in 15 minutes by Uber (20 €) or taxi (35 €).
Once there, this central district allows you to easily reach all of the city's attractions in a few minutes on foot.

. Arrival must be scheduled by appointment at least 24 hours before arrival between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

. BABY/CHILD EQUIPMENT: if you are traveling with children, have a stroller or a car seat delivered directly to the apartment, the airport or the SNCF station, thanks to our partner Baby On A Trip, to be booked at least 48 hours in advance. (Online booking directly on their website)
. The kitchen must be cleaned and the dishes washed and put away after your departure, otherwise you will accept that an additional €30 be deducted from your deposit
. Please take out your bins before your final departure from the accommodation.
. The accommodation is non-smoking, any transgression of this rule will be charged 150€ to cover the costs of cleaning and deodorization.
. A kit of sheets and towels will be provided for your arrival on the basis of one kit per bed and per stay. If you want an additional kit or a renewal please notify us 24 hours before, the additional kit will be charged from 25€
. We will provide you with welcome products for your arrival (soaps, toilet paper, garbage bags). The products at your disposal are welcome products, they are there to allow you to arrive in complete peace of mind. We cannot guarantee that they will be sufficient for your entire stay. It will depend on your personal consumption.
. Only one set of keys will be provided
. The cleaning costs correspond to the cleaning of the accommodation after your departure at the end of your stay, if you want additional cleaning, please contact us in advance, we will charge this extra cleaning.
. In the event of an emergency requiring our intervention, we will be able to intervene in the accommodation by appointment between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
. The use of the apartment is strictly reserved for the persons mentioned on the reservation, any foreign presence will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation or the invoicing of additional travelers at the rate of 99€ per additional traveler
. The use of the apartment and all its equipment must be carried out in a 'good father's way and without disturbing the neighborhood
